A building setback line of 15 feet shall be required from the edge of any stream buffers. Following construction, this helps to prevent encroachment into the buffer while maintaining such structures. Fences and minor structural intrusions as defined in LMC 21.02.105 into the area may be allowed if the department determines that such intrusions will not negatively impact the stream.
