Councilmembers shall be entitled to receive reimbursement for expenses actually incurred while attending functions when such functions are official city business and the expenses are necessary and/or incidental to such city business. Councilmembers may be reimbursed for educational programs attended, when such educational programs are designed to inform the council of ways to better serve the city of Lynnwood.
