The city council may adopt regulations from time-to-time determining the qualifications for the office, prescribing compensation to be paid, and defining additional powers and duties to be exercised and performed by the superintendent of streets and public works and his subordinates, in addition to the duties prescribed in LMC 2.44.020 hereof.
