The city shall allow employees working in regular full-time positions to receive a $30.00 per month commute trip reduction subsidy under the following conditions:

A. All participants must register for the CTR program.

B. All participants must utilize one or a combination of the following alternative transportation modes for commuting to work for at least 60 percent of such participant’s work shifts each month:

1. Bicycle;

2. Bus;

3. Carpool (two or more people per car);

4. Vanpool;

5. Walking.

C. All participants must begin their regular workday at a single worksite between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (inclusive) on two or more weekdays.

D. Each eligible employee in a carpool or vanpool is eligible for the subsidy.

E. All participants must use an alternative transportation mode for at least 60 percent of their total commute distance.

F. All eligible participants may receive either a commute trip reduction subsidy or a bus pass subsidy. No participant may receive both subsidies at the same time.

G. The subsidy payment will be made quarterly.

H. Commute trip reduction subsidies are contingent upon the availability of budgeted funds. (Ord. 2922 § 2, 2011; Ord. 2778 § 1, 2009; Ord. 2484 § 2, 2004)
