A. The mayor is authorized to establish an optional employee benefit program for all nonrepresented, regular city employees and further authorized to execute the appropriate contracts to create such a program.

B. Employees may now or later elect to execute a joinder agreement, which authorizes deferral of compensation for these benefits. The finance director may sign such joinder agreements on behalf of and for the city. (Ord. 2499 § 2, 2004)
