A. New Construction.

1. Sewer Capping Permit. Where the lot to be developed has an existing building which is to be removed or demolished, the capping of the side sewer must be inspected prior to any further work on the site.

2. Demolition Permit. Where the lot to be developed has an existing building which is to be moved or demolished, this permit is required.

A $2,000 bond for site cleanup is required, to be released when an inspection shows the area to be in acceptable state.

If the property has an existing septic tank, the tank must be pumped and filled with a suitable material and the site inspected for compliance. If septic tank is to be removed or demolished, there is no need for it to be filled with a suitable material.

3. Clearing and grading/tree cutting permit.

4. Septic tank permit (only in areas where no sanitary sewer available and approved by county health department).

5. Storm drainage system.

6. Utilities installation permit/invasion permit/lateral permit.

7. Park in-lieu for residential only.

8. Business license – Out of city.

9. Building permit/plumbing permit/mechanical permit.

10. Sewer connection charge.

11. Side sewer permit.

12. Sign permit.

B. Moving a Building – Off Lot.

1. Sewer capping permit, together with record of acceptance of the capping work.

2. Demolition permit, together with a $2,000 bond to guarantee that the site will be left in an acceptable state. If the building was connected to a septic tank, the septic tank must be pumped and filled with a suitable material and the site inspected for compliance. If septic tank is to be removed or demolished, there is no need for it to be filled with a suitable material.

3. Moving permit, including bond.

C. Moving a Building – On Lot.

1. Minimum Housing Code inspection.

2. All permits listed in new construction category.

D. Miscellaneous.

1. Fireworks permit.

2. Tent permit.

3. Swimming pool (private).

4. Swimming pool (public).

5. Fence permit.

6. Searchlight permit.

7. Sewer capping permit.

8. Side sewer permit (connection charge to be paid prior to issuance).

9. Invasion permit and bond if required.

10. Lateral permit.

11. Septic tank permit (only in areas where no sanitary sewer available and approved by the county health department).

12. Demolition permit (see subsections (B)(1) and (B)(2) of this section).

13. House moving permit.
