13.40.050 Project types.
For purposes of this chapter, projects are classified as Category 1 or Category 2 sites as described below, primarily based on the extent of hard surface area and the type of land-disturbing activities that will occur.
A. Category 1 project sites shall comply with minimum requirements Nos. 1 through 5. Category 1 includes projects that:
1. Result in 2,000 square feet, or greater, of new, replaced, or new plus replaced hard surface area; or
2. Have land disturbing activity of 7,000 square feet or greater.
B. Category 2 project sites shall comply with minimum requirements Nos. 1 through 9. Category 2 includes projects that:
1. Result in 5,000 square feet, or greater, of new, replaced, or new plus replaced hard surface area; or
2. Convert three-quarters of an acre, or more, of vegetation to lawn or landscaped areas; or
3. Convert two and one-half acres, or more, of native vegetation to pasture. (Ord. 3443 § 1, 2023; Ord. 2833 § 2, 2010)
