The city of Lynnwood hereby extends coverage through the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries industrial insurance program to all qualified reserve police officers for injuries received in the performance of duty with access to all benefits provided by this program.

The city shall pay the employer portion of the premium and reserve officers will be responsible for the employee portion of the premium via payroll deduction as determined by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Enrollment in the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries industrial insurance program is mandatory upon hire. (Ord. 3292 § 1, 2018; Ord. 2280 § 1, 1999)
