At the appeal meeting, the city council shall take action on the appeal, as provided in LMC 1.35.705. The city council may continue consideration of the appeal to a subsequent meeting; provided, that the meeting is not scheduled more than 60 calendar days from the date the appeal was received by the applicable department director, unless extended by agreement of the parties to the appeal.
